Description

Food Pickup and Stocking Process

Teams rotate weekly to pick up food orders from the North Main Street Food Lion.

  • Pickup & Payment: One team member is designated to pay for the order and collect the paperwork.

  • Meeting Time: Teams meet at the Food Lion store at 11:45 p.m. to load the order into their vehicles.

  • Transport: The food is delivered to the Food Pantry.

  • Unloading & Stocking: Once at the Pantry, the food is unloaded, unwrapped, and stocked in the designated warehouse area for each type of item.

  • Team Leader:  Allen/Laurie Redcay  aeredcay@verizon.net

The total time commitment is no more than 2.0 hours.
