As part of our Summer Food Program for children, we have partnered with The Outreach Program to provide easy-to-prepare meal kits alongside our regular summer food bags. These nutritious meal kits include Macaroni and Cheese, Pasta with Tomato Basil Sauce, and Minestrone Soup. Each kit provides six servings and requires only the addition of hot water for preparation, making them accessible and convenient for children during the summer months.
This is a new initiative for our organization, and we are excited about the potential to expand the program to serve even more families in the future. To make this effort possible, we are seeking volunteers to participate in the meal kit assembly process. Volunteers will work together on an assembly line to package the kits, and all instructions and guidance will be provided. No special experience is needed — just willing hands and a desire to help support children and families in our community.
