Thanks to a generous donation from Agape and the support of Clinton Moving and Transfer, our warehouse is filled with several 100-pound bags of rice ready to be repackaged for families in need.
We are looking for a team of 10 volunteers to help transform these bulk donations into one-pound bags for distribution through the Food Pantry. Purchasing prepackaged rice costs nearly $1.00 per bag, but by repackaging it ourselves, we can save hundreds of dollars — funds that can instead be used to provide even more food to our neighbors facing hunger.
This is a simple project with a direct and immediate impact. A few hours of volunteer time will help stretch every donated dollar further and put more meals on family tables across our community.
