Trauma and Resilency Basics

Calendar Happens On Oct 10, 2024
Time 12pm to 2pm
Expired

Description

Most of the customers visiting the food pantry have experienced or are experiencing some type of trauma.  Food insecurity is itself a form of trauma.

How do we best relate to our customers and promote resiliency in our community and ourselves?

We are looking for a minimum of ten individuals to attend training on this topic at the Food Pantry.  This training is a requirement for a grant that we have received but is a great skill for those that have direct contact with our customers.

Lunch will be provided! A free meal and two hours of your time will be a benefit for you and for the Food Pantry
