Join Our Volunteer Appreciation Dream Team!
Our amazing volunteers are the heart of the Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry—we couldn’t do it without them! With nearly 250 volunteers helping out each month, I’m grateful for every single one, but I’d love to find fun and meaningful ways to show them how much we appreciate them. That’s where you come in!
We’re forming a small, cheerful team of five people to help us recognize and celebrate our volunteers all year long. It’s a great chance to make a real difference behind the scenes and help everyone feel loved and valued.
What You’ll Do:
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to come up with creative ideas for showing gratitude. You might help design and hand out special volunteer T-shirts to kick things off, and then move on to other fun projects! You’ll get to:
- Brainstorm fun ways to say “thank you”
- Find new ways to recognize individual contributions
- Help build an even stronger community among our volunteers
- Work closely with a friendly, dedicated team

You’re a great fit if you are:
- Creative and full of ideas
- Organized and dependable

- Able to spare a few hours each month
