Food drives are one of the biggest ways we bring in food to help neighbors in need — and every can, box, and bag makes a huge difference! But we think giving can be even more exciting, more lively, and more inspiring. And that’s where you come in!
We’re putting together a fun, energetic Food Drive Innovation Team, and we want YOU to be part of it. If you love coming up with new ideas and making a difference in your community, this is the perfect opportunity to have fun while helping others!
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Make Food Drives Exciting: Brainstorm fresh, fun ways to amp up our food drives and get more people involved.
- Create Eye-Catching Promotions: Design fun posters, cool social media posts, or anything that makes people say “Wow, I want to help!”
- Spread the Word: Come up with creative ideas to shout out our food drives across the community — more voices, more giving!
- Try New and Exciting Ideas: Help us test out fun ideas like drive-through food pickups, community contests, or surprise events!
- Support Our Mission: Play a key role in helping us stock shelves and serve over 1,200 people in Blacksburg — all thanks to YOUR ideas!

Anyone who’s creative, friendly, loves fun ideas, and wants to make a real impact! No experience needed — just a few hours a week and a big heart.
