We're on the hunt for a super dedicated and sharp Volunteer Grant Research Specialist(s) to join our team. This role is a big deal – it directly helps us fight food insecurity and get vital assistance to our neighbors right here in Blacksburg.
In this role, you'll get to:
● Find Cool Opportunities: Use your super-sleuth research skills to sniff out all sorts of grant opportunities! Think foundations, companies, government groups – anyone who helps with food, community stuff, and related programs.
● Make Great Matches: Help us find grants that are perfect for what the Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry does and what we need.
● Gather All the Details: Pull together all the important info about potential grants, like who can apply, how to do it, deadlines, and what they're looking to fund.
● Make a HUGE Impact! Your awesome research will directly bring in new money, which means we can buy more food, make our services even better, and reach even more families who really need a hand.
