About the Role:
We’re looking for three caring, dependable volunteers to join our team and help provide food for families that do not have permanent housing. These families have students attending Montgomery County Public Schools and are living in hotels. Our goal is to make sure they still have plenty to eat and know their community cares about them.
What You’ll Do:

Help pack bags of food for these families — we’ll pack for the group twice a month.

Work together to make sure each bag is filled with nutritious items.
Time Commitment:

Packing with three to four individuals will generally take less than two hours.
Who We’re Looking For:

Friendly, reliable volunteers who enjoy helping others.

Comfortable lifting and carrying grocery bags (up to about 25 lbs).
Why It Matters:
A few hours of your time can make a huge difference in the lives of these families who might otherwise go without enough food. You’ll be helping them feel seen, supported, and valued — and you’ll be part of a team that’s feeding both body and spirit.
