Postal Food Drive
Blacksburg residents will be receiving a flyer in the mail very soon about the postal food drive on May 11. This is an annual event that benefits the food pantry and the last several years have been very successful event. But....we need help!
This year the post office has asked that we pick up the food from the University City Blvd location. After the food is delivered to the pantry, we need to check the dates on the food and stock it. Last year we relied on our daily service teams to deal with the food drive food. Based on the increase in our customer visits - we are recruiting stocking teams to help with this effort.
